Jacob’s Creek Reserve Shiraz exhibits complex flavours of mulberry, plum, chocolate and spice with excellent fruit length.
The grapes were picked from selected parcels grown in the Barossa region in South Australia where the warm days and cool nights allow for optimal development of intense flavour and complexity.
Colour: Deep ruby red
Aroma: The nose shows bright, concentrated blackberry and clove aromas, with hints of white pepper and allspice reflecting the cooler vintage conditions; the fruit characters are supported by well integrated vanilla caramel oak.
Palate: The rich, spicy black fruits and stylish oak flavours are layered on a full boded palate with the soft, silky tannins which are typical of Shiraz from the Barossa. The palate shows finely balanced acidity and concludes with a long satisfying finish.
